Across the Pond I Go!

Friends,

I figured it was about time I update you all on what's been brewing over the past little while.

After pursuing music within Vancouver over the past couple of years, I've decided to take a leap across the pond. For the time being, I will be moving back to the UK!

I realize this may seem incredibly sudden and random, and you're probably wondering where this spontaneity came from, but rest assured, this does not mean I am moving away for good. Not even close. In fact, I fully intend on returning to Vancouver and the Canadian music scene with full force, not long from now.

I'm very excited to explore the music community in and around London, England. It's a HUGE city, with lots of competition, but also lots of opportunity.  I cannot be sure what will transpire, but that's precisely what I'm looking forward to.

As an artist, I have found some of my most challenging, yet rewarding experiences resulting from diving head first into the unknown. In the past, I have found I've developed far quicker and learned much more by stepping outside of my comfort zone. This is another one of those steps.

I wish all my Canadian friends and fans the very best, and maybe you can send me some luck back on this new segway of my musical journey. I thought I'd end things on a rather appropriate Tolkien quote, all things considered.

“The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.”
